RNP2000 is designed in such a way as to transfer to the software level all the variable parameters that normally define the different types of color registration systems available on the market. One unique characteristics of this system is that it incorporates all the software functions to keep track of the various jobs carried out on the rotary presses and guarantee that the operating quality is followed through.

Therefore, with the RNP2000 system, each specific application no longer calls for the implementation of specific equipment, representing a major gain for the user in terms of:

Scanner reading gate positioning window

For each registration unit, it is possible to set the read enable zone to 1/100 mm of the format for its position and range. This setting can be obtained at a stop or in real time.
Spot reading materialization allows fast setting.
Unique possibility of using the printout as a registration spot.

Configuration of machine parameters

This window is used for displaying and modifying the computer parameters, unit by unit. This particularity is a way of using the same units, for example, for testing a printout or a rotary cut. All the parameters can be backed up to a file and called up for future jobs.

This mini-console allows quick action thanks to a specific keypad and to LCD displays for the most important system parameters, in particular:

Analysis function

This function is used for real-time representation of longitudinal and lateral registration error by unit.
These data are a way of refining the setting of the test loop parameter and it is also possible to store errors on a hard disk for a given job.
A file will be created registering the error values and the machine parameters used. These files can be analysed using EXCEL.
